We're Running Out of Landfill Space

By the year 2002, 200 California landfills will close. The Coachella Valley has traditionally relied on two local landfills for waste disposal. Unfortunately, both of the landfills are now closed.

Recycling Makes Sense

Unlike landfills (which simply stockpile trash) recycling removes waste completely, then turns it back to useful products. Recycling saves money, and in turn reduces the amount of trash going to the landfills.

We Make Recycling Simple

Burrtec Waste and Recycling Services has made every effort to make recycling simple. We provide recycling bins for use at your home in the communities of Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Coachella, Yucca Valley, and Twentynine Palms.  This also includes the unicorportated areas of Riverside and San Bernardino County.

We do not provide residential or commerical recycling in Palm Springs or Desert Hot Springs.  

To order recycling bins, simply e-mail us with your request, or call our customer service department at (760) 340-2113. Recycling bins are picked up with your trash every week.
